How I Show Up

I’m deeply committed to meeting you exactly where you are — mentally, emotionally, and experientially. Whatever you’ve lived through, your experiences are real and worthy of care. I’m glad you found your way here. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and safe — especially if you’ve felt like an outsider, misfit, or “too much” elsewhere.

You matter here. You don’t have to carry everything alone anymore. Our work together is meaningful to me, and I hope to help you build tools for more ease, self-trust, and compassion in your life.

What Therapy With Me Is Like

Therapy can feel intimidating, vulnerable, and exhausting — and I aim to make it easier. I take your lead and move at your pace. I listen without judgment. I won’t tell you what to do or who to be.

Instead, we collaborate. I’ll help you create a plan that feels authentic, sustainable, and aligned with who you are. Think of me as a sounding board, a steady presence, and a partner as you explore, heal, and grow.

My Training & Experience

Before opening my private practice, I worked in acute child and adolescent inpatient care, hospice and palliative care, home health, and group private practices.

I’m a proud double alum of the University of Memphis (go Tigers!) where I earned my BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) and MSW (Master of Social Work). Since graduating in 2019, I have spent 7 years providing quality care to all who seek my assistance.

A Little About Me

I live in Cary, NC, with my two Persian rescue cats, Cheeto and Heiner, and my life partner. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me at board game bars, Renaissance Faires, cat cafes, poetry slams, used bookstores, hockey games (let’s go Canes!), comic and anime conventions, and exploring mountains, beaches, and far-off places — from Memphis (my hometown) to Scotland to the Seychelles.

I write (therapy resources, sci-fi, fantasy), stay curious about world religions and cultures, love boba tea, and am always learning — both as a human and a therapist.

I’m one email away.

I know that sending this one email might feel like climbing a mountain, but you can do it. You don’t have to talk on the phone unless you want to — I understand how anxiety-provoking that can feel. We can take everything one step at a time through email, and from there, the path becomes smoother. I see you. I hear you. And it’s perfectly okay to not be okay.
